Economics Program Assistant (joint with Africa House)
Lauren began work at DRI and Africa House in August of 2012. She holds a B.A. from SUNY Geneseo in English literature with a minor in economics and is currently pursuing an M.A. in economics at NYU. She came to economics as a lover of personal narratives and storytelling tools, and now uses everything from memoirs to matrix algebra to bridge the gap between the actions people take and their beliefs, motivations, and expectations for the future. Outside of the office, Lauren is a lover of games, good food, and good company.
